Bigwin island is only accessible by water
or air. Ferry service is provided from the Bigwin island Docks
at Norway Point.
Reservations for access to the island are mandatory.

From Toronto
take Highway 400 North to Highway 11 North, exit on Highway 117 East. Travel
16 km to Baysville. Continue on Hwy 117 East, 10.5 km further to Old Hwy
117. Go West along Old Hwy 117, 1.5 km to the signs for Bigwin Island Golf
Club Ferry Docks at Norway Point.
From Oshawa
take Highway 35 North to Dorset. Exit at Highway 117 West and travel 23 km.
to Old Hwy 117. Turn Right at Old Hwy 117, go 3.7 km. to the signs for
Bigwin Island Golf Club Ferry Docks at Norway Point.
From Deerhurst Resort and Delta Grandview
Inn
take Highway 60 West to Muskoka Road 3 and turn Left. Continue over the swing
bridge and turn Left at the traffic lights which is Muskoka Road 2. Continue
to Highway 117 East, turn on to Old Highway 117, 1.5 km to the signs for Bigwin
Island Golf Club Ferry Docks at Norway Point, where our complementary boat
service will bring you to the island.
Please note that for visitors
who wish to access the island from a place other than Norway
Point, direct water taxi service is available from anywhere on
Lake of Bays including Dwight, Dorset and Baysville. For more
